Aambala - A rocking debut by HipHop Tamizha
One thing is clear about the music album of Aambala. It turns to be an impeccable break for Sundar C and Vishal, who didn’t have many Chartbusters in their career till the date. Hip Hop Aadhi makes his debut as music director with this film and there are six tracks in the album that comes with a package of different genres.
Madras to Madurai (Aambala)
Singers: Kailash Kher, Vishnu Priya & Maria RDE Vincent
Lyrics: Hiphop Tamizha
The song instantly gives a distinct impression that it’s an introduction song laced with mass and peppy elements to boost up the protagonist in this film. The song is pictured on Poonam Bajwa and Vishal in the backdrops of huge set works. Kailash Kher scores the best on his part and Vishnu Priya on her part spangles the song with good rendition.
Pazhagikalaam
Singers: Hiphop Tamizha
Lyrics: Hiphop Tamizha
The song had its magic illustrated with more mania by its single track launch and it turned to be an overnight fever across the towns. Moreover, the making visuals had grabbed more attention and this song is sure to keep the party animals exhilarated.
Vaa Vaa Vaa Vanilla
Singers: Mohit Chauhan & Amrita Shekar
Lyrics: Hiphop TamizhaAdditional
Vocals: Nirthya Maria Andrews
A medium paced track that gets a decent instrumental score in the backdrops and the visuals will bring more colours to it. Mohit Chauhan, the man behind many Chartbusters in Bollywood and Kollywood that includes Rockstar and Anirudh’s Moonu has intonated with perfection.
Yaarenaa Sonnaalum
Singers: Kutle Khan, Anthony Dassan and Varun
Lyrics: HipHop Tamizha
A slow tempo song that focalises on the wonderful family relations and how the heaven comes down when there is so much of joy in the family. The song is almost like a montage number pictured on almost everyone in the cast.
Aye Aye Aye
Singer: HipHop Tamizha
Lyrics: HipHop Tamizha
The song is yet another peppy track that has the complete punch of Hip Hop Tamizha as a singer and lyricist. The visuals by Gopi would really bring out more style on the screens.
Inbam Pongum Vennila
Singers: HipHop Tamizha
Lyrics: HipHop Tamizha
Few lines and tunes from ever classical ‘Inbam Pongum Vennnila’ from Sivaji Ganeshan’s Veera Pandiya Kattabomman has been picked for a remix version that takes you through a roller-coaster fun and excitements. So cool, peppy and the portions involving HipHop and Hansika Motwani will be a tremendous one. The song is expected to be placed during the final credits of this film that will have every member of cast and crew shaking legs.
Overall, HipHop Tamizha introduces a new league of music in Tamil cinema with Aambala that has ensemble list of independent singers making their arrival in style. While Pazhagikalaam and Inbam Pongum Vennila throw up your energy for a dancing mania, Yaarenna Sonnalum is a melodious treat.
Verdict : A rocking debut by HipHop Tamizha
Stars : 3/5
