Meaghamann - Average on whole
Arya was seen last seen playing a romantic role in Raja Rani followed with a multi-starrer flick Arrambam. He is now back as an action hero with the film Meaghamann. The film is directed by Magizh Thirumeni and is produced by Nemichand Jhabak. Thaman has composed music for this album that looks decent and here goes the complete analysis of the songs.
Yaaro Yaaro Meaghamann
Singer - Megha
Lyrics - Eknaath
Thaman has tuned up this song with peppy and electrifying effects that surely captures offers the mass appeal. Megha is the right choice for this song and she has rendered with overpowering energy. In few places, the beats seem to be a faster-version rhythm of ‘En Chella Paer Apple’ from Pokkiri. The instrumentals are perfectly synchronised and will surely have a great effect when viewed on the screens.
Yaen Ingu Vandhaan
Singer - Pooja AV
Lyrics – Karky
The complete song is made on the effect of Rhumba effect and what is attractive about the song is the voice of Pooja and the way Thaman has blend the music together with her rendition. The interludes in the song give a classic old film songs feel. Maybe, he might have been inspired from the legend MS Viswanathan. There are little traces of ‘Konjam Konjam’ song from Arindhum Ariyaamalum.
Meaghamann
Singer - M.M. Manasi & M.M. Monissha
Lyrics – Karky
It’s an introduction to the mass hero Arya here. That’s how the lyrical lines are penned and it sounds more like a theme song of this film. M.M. Manasi and M.M. Monissha have crooned the song with bold appeal that enhances the heroism of the protagonist.
Meaghamann Theme Music
Singer - M.M. Manasi & M.M. Monissha
Lyrics – Karky
The theme narrates how valour is going to the hero in this film and his overpowering realms. It can be mentioned that this theme music is so much gripping and will add more intensity to the presence of Arya on the screens.
Although, all the songs are very well arranged and composed, it doesn’t easily capture our attention. Thaman has to bounce back to the top order position that he had gained with ‘Eeram’ and tune up something more enthralling to the music listeners.
Verdict : Average on whole
Stars : 2/5
