The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is a compact car manufactured in India by Maruti Suzuki. It is expected to launch in India on Oct 6, 2014.... Maruti Suzuki shall manufacturing the Ciaz at their Manesar factory premises... It is based on by the Suzuki Authentic Concept shown at Shanghai Motor show 2013. It shall be the successor of SX4 in India and be sold in a Sedan version. It will available with 1.4 liter K-Series petrol engine range, and Fiat's 1.3 liter diesel engine. This sedan will be available only in a front wheel drive configuration. Ciaz's interior design is inspired by the Suzuki Kizashi with dual tone dashboard following wooden strips on dashboard and windows. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will compete with Honda City, Chevrolet Sail, VW Polo, Hyundai Verna & Ford Fiesta in India. It will launch in 7 colors: Pearl metallic arctic white Midnight black Silky Silver Glistening Grey Clear Beige Chocolate Brown Fire Brick Red The petrol will have 1372 cc and the diesel will 1248 cc engine. The diesel model is to deliver Mileage above 26.21 km/L while the petrol mileage will be 20.73 km/L as announced by Maruti Suzuki in September 2014. The Ciaz will launch in 4 trims levels: V, V+, Z & Z+. The power(BHP) of it will be 91.18 (Petrol) and 88.76 (Diesel). The torque (NM) will be 130 (Petrol) and 200 (Diesel). The Ciaz petrol version will also have an automatic transmission option too the same currently using in SX4 Automatic.It is expected to priced between 7.2 lakhs to 10.5 lakhs...
