Avial is an anthology feature film of five fun-filled, entertaining stories, written and directed by six directors such as Alphonse Putharen, Shameer Sultan, Mohit Mehra, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Guru Smaran. Starring Nivin Pauly, Bobby Simha and Arjunan Nandakumar and many more. The movie is produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s ‘Stone Bench Creations’. It is the second venture after Bench Talkies – The First Bench (2015)

They are planning to release this kind of a venture once every two months with different sets of film makers, says Karthik, “We will follow the same format of six short films and will feature film heroes and renowned film makers as well, along with new talent. It will be an educative experience for young directors.”

STORY & PERFORMANCE

The film is a collection of five Tamil short films made by various directors. Movie makers tried something new and unique in entertaining audience, and factually audience need unique storied films like Aviyal. If you love short films, you’ll love Aviyal. It is an eclectic mix of some the best shorts by some of the great cinematic minds.

As it is an anthology of films, this film contains mixed portion of everything does a movie provides. The story of the movie contains, bit romance, horror, suspense, action thriller and comedy as well. Many might not have any idea about this film, but surely this is a great film. To say in simple words, the story of the movie completely diplomatic and well known but the way how a person represents and the story variation had been done six legendary directors. So, the movie is not a feeling of some movie maker, it’s a worthy creation of six legendary movie makers.

Each and every movie maker does have his own style of movie making and each one’s style represented in a single itself.
