Irukku Aana Illa - Welcome to new-age supernatural thriller

The films with new genres experimented have been basking in glory with good success. From the producers with innovative approach, here comes a film with new of its kind supernatural thriller titled Irukku Aana Illa that stars a bunch of good actors and commendable performance.

Story:

Vivanth is almost like an odd person out of the casual freewheeling cohort. He has no proper focus on his lifestyle and work, but his life becomes terrible when he meets with an accident, where a beautiful girl (Eden) passes away in a shocking manner. He goes back home and finds a terrible thing, the ghost of the dead girl haunting him. What does the ghost actually doing here? Does it have anything to be gratified? You’ll have to watch the rest on the screens.

Performance:

Vivanth has completely moulded himself to this role and fits the space well. It’s actually a tough task for an actor to carry this sort of persona and he does it with excellence. Not to miss out the scenes where his chilled on his spines by the ghost. Eden does her best with her appealing performance and some of her emotional scenes that comes in late in second hour deserves special mention. Aadhavan becomes the showstopper as his hilarious witty lines become refreshing factor. Veteran actor Y.G. Mahendra strikes well with a spectacular show in an unconventional manner.

Best:

The first half of this film is really engaging. Especially, when the ghost comes into the picture, the momentum gradually shoots up high and there are certain spooky moments that actually keep frozen. The humorous part is also worthy of appreciations. The performance of actors is completely convincing.

Technicalities:

The cinematography has been very well handled and it enhances the eerie feeling indeed. The background scores works at its best in offering the right mood for this supernatural thriller. Editing is sleek and fits well for this genre of movie.

Negative:

Being a spearheading attempt by the bunch of newcomers, there is nothing to bring out here for the negatives. But if the second half was made with some spine-chilling moments, it would have been more engrossing for the audience.
