Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer of this Tamil drama flick. Cinematography has been handled by N.S.Udhayakumar. Abhinav Sundar Nayak has taken care of Editing. Madonne Ashwin has written the dialogues for the film.

STORY
Kathir (Vidharth) is the son of Sundaram (Bharathi Raja), who works under Ekambaram (PL Thenappan), a saw-mill owner and a smuggler in Tanjore. He loves his father, but cannot stomach the fact that he is the trusted aide of a criminal.
He hates it more when an alliance for him with a girl named Viji (Delna Davis) is called off by her father.
The story takes an interesting turn when Ekambaram assigns Sundaram to deliver a smuggled idol to Sekar (Kumaravel) in Chennai. Sekar decides to cheat them and put the blame on the elderly Sundaram. However, someone steals that bag or he loses that bag. Meanwhile, that money bag reaches to the Kathir Hand. How the bag reached to Kathir and what is the reaction of Ekambaram over the Sundaram? To know all answers you should watch the film in theatres.
PERFORMANCE
Surely the film Kurangu Bommai is one of the Best Tamil Movie of the year. The tightly-woven plot keeps us hooked for the entire duration while the fabulous performances from the entire cast draws us deep into the story. Bharathirajaa is phenomenal as a naïve old man who doesn’t mind doing the wrong thing for his friend, while Kumaravel, a staple of Radha Mohan’s films, is a revelation in a diabolical role. Once again, as he did in Kuttrame Thandanai and Oru Kidaiyin Karunai Manu, the understated Vitharth gives us a very relatable character. Even minor roles like that of Kalki, who plays a hapless thief who tries to steal the bag, and Krishnamoorthy, who appears as an accomplice of Sekar stand out.
Ajaneesh Loknath’s background score is one of the biggest strengths of Kurangu Bommai, his score elevates the tense moments and Abhinav Sundar Nayak also deserves a special mention for his smooth and sharp edit. The running time of Kurangu Bommai is just 106 minutes, which is perfect for a crime thriller.
There aren’t any noticeable flaws in the film, but audience across sub-urban and rural areas might not be well versed with a complicated screenplay.
