REVIEW
 
Muthina Kathirikka, is the official remake of Malayalam film Vellimoonga which was well received and was a super hit film in 2014. Venkat Raghavan had given best direction work and multi-talented actor Sundar.C has delivered Muthina Kathirikai under his home banner Avni Movies. Aside from film’s production work, Sundar.C has played the lead role romancing the actress Poonam Bajwa.
 
The remains actors include Vaibhav, Kiran, Singam Puli, VTV Ganesh, Sathish, Ravi Mariya and others. Thenandal Films has gained the distribution rights. Siddharth Vipin has given the music for this film. Banu Murugan took care of the cinematography part for the film Hello Naan Pei Pesuren has done the cinematography work for this film too.
 
STORY

The story revolves around a middle-aged politician played by Sunder C. This rambling character with his owlish eyes gets a taste of the real significance of the white kadhar through some situations that he has to encounter. These situations actually act as a catalyst for his political and personal growth. When we say growth, it’s not altogether a straight one. All the characters that one encounters in this movie are crooked one way or the other. He is no exception. But it is his crookedness that endears him to the audience.
 
Because of this factor, the movie does not come across as a didactic one. It does not get irritatingly preachy. In both his political aspirations and personal one, He uses the back door to get his way. After all, the destination is what is important than the journey. In his political life, he has a few things to achieve and a few scores to settle. In his personal life, in his ripe middle age, he is trying to win over a girl. Their unique relationship lends the movie much of its stellar moments, with the witty dialogues between them generating much laughter.
 
PERFORMANCE
 
Sunder C is tailor-made for the role, events relating to his real life. The character suits him really well. Poonam Bajwa is perfect in her role. Sundar C and Poonam Bajwa have wonderfully executed the comic sequences, with the timings perfect and expressions not over the top.
 
This film Cinematographer Banu Murugan made his best job and Srikanth N.B performed good editing work. Siddharth Vipin music has impressed most of the audience before its release. Actors Sathish, Singam Puli, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, will be seen in comedy roles in the film entertaining audience with their perfect comic timing.
