The families of Azhagam Perumal and Jayaprakash were close knitted and there were even plans to get their children Michael and Nandhitha married once they grow up. But the sudden turn of events get the two families up against each other. For Michael and Nandhitha the strenuous relationship between their parents didn’t matter and they get married in a temple only to be ostracized by their families. The couple with the help of Soori leave to Chennai where Nandhitha finds a job as a teacher in a school. Michael aspires to become a director and takes efforts in this direction. Nandhitha also supports Michael’s dreams. Will Michael realise his aspirations? Will the two families reunite is what the film is all about.

Music by Aswath is worth listening and Nizar’s camera has worked perfectly for the film.

Newbie Michael has struggled to perform though he has tried his best in romantic and sentiment scenes. Nandhitha is already a few films old and could have been given powerful scenes but unfortunately it did not happen. Soori, Azhagam Perumal, Jayaprakash, Renuka have all executed their bit well.

The director Venkatesan has clearly depicted the hassles faced by a couple who have antagonised their families to realize their love. The screenplay is definitely a plus for the film.
