“Oyee” is Tamil upcoming cinema of the year which is one of the most waited Tamil cinemas and the movie has been directed by one of the ace film director Francis Markus. The film “Oyee” is touted as an art house creative feature film with a heart wrenching message yet to win the audiences hearts.

This movie was directed and written by Francis Markus. This movie is a romantic comedy entertainer. The movie was produced by Francis Bastiyan under the production banner Mark Studio India Private Limited. The supportive leads of the movie are done by Nagineedu, Sangili Murugan, Arjunan Nandhakumar and Papri Ghosh. The famous music director Isaignani Ilayaraaja had composed the music with beautiful lyrics. Already the songs of this film are doing wonders as ringtones in mamy phones. The Cinematography and Editting of the movie was done by Yugaraj and Manikandan.

STORY

The Oyee movie revolves around two individuals Krishna( Geethan Britto) and Swetha (Eesha). Krishna has a joint family but he dont want to be with his family as they are against to his love life. Whereas, Swetha always yearns for a family love from her childhood. But from some circumstances Swetha end up staying in Krishna’s house as his girlfriend. Due to her pleasing behavior his family will come close to her and believes that she was there daughter in law. Then Krishna goes against to this and announces that she is not his girl, but no one listens to him. There are many twists in the movie like, Why Swetha is acting as Krishna’s girlfriend? Will Krishna fall for her? What will happen when Krishna’s real girlfriend appears on the screen and their family reaction.

PERFORMANCE

Though its their first movie, the lead pair have done a decent work.  Geethan Britto has way to go if he works as hard as this in the future. Eesha looks good. But the facial expression shows at places she is a new comer. Music is the backbone of this movie. Illayaraja has given an outstanding composing. Many people were interested in the composing than the movie, Illayaraja did not disappoint them. Cinematography could have been better with such beautiful locations. Screenplay and editing are crisp.
