REVIEW 

Pichaikaran is a Tamil movie starring Vijay Antony and Satna Titus in the lead roles. Vijay Antony has done multitasking as Hero, Musician, and Producer for the film.

Sasi has penned and directed the film. The movie that comes under the genre of the action thriller has gained much positive response for its theatrical trailer. Prasanna Kumar is the cinematographer and Veera Senthil Raj is editor of the film.

Earlier in an interview Vijay Antony said, “Actually the story of this film is inspired by an incident that happened in the life of somebody about whom director Sasi got to know”. A movie always gets anticipation when it comes with a tag ‘Real life incident’. Pichaikaran is not an exception to it. 

STORY 

Pichaikkaran is a story of a rich man who will be forced to become a beggar due to some circumstances. The Tamil movie does not talk about beggars rather narrates the life story of a rich man, who turns poor owing to situations.

What is the reason behind him wearing the mask of a beggar? Why does he opt for a somber lifestyle when he can live life king size? Answers to these questions, is what the film is all about. 

PERFORMANCE 

Vijay Antony takes the action and sentiment route in Pichaikkaran. He manages to score high in the far end of the film. Debutante Satna Titus is a good find, and this girl has way to go.

Other supporting actors including the one who has portrayed the role of the villain have done well enough to keep you hooked with their respective acts. Kudos to director Sasi. He had made good use of each and every character effectively.

Time invested in penning the character details is apparent and admirable. Cinematography by Prasanna Kumar stands out all the way through. Music by Vijay Antony is another positive as it adds stability to the film.
