Sethupathi - One man show!
REVIEW
Written and directed by ‘Pannayarum Padminiyum’ fame S.U Arun Kumar, Vijay Sethupathi’s much-awaited cop drama ‘Sethupathi’ released today on 19th February. The film was produced by Shan Sutharsan under the banner of Vasan Movies.
Remya Nambeesan, is playing female lead in the film. The film deals with action-drama genre with equal score for romance, family sentiment and emotions.
STORY
The movie is based on the story of a cop which is enacted by Vijay Sethupathi. This is the first time that the hero has taken up the role of a cop. The lady lead Remya Nambeesan is seen to play the role as the cop’s wife.
The pair acts as the parents of two kids with all the proper mix of sentiments, family drama, and emotions. Vela Ramamoorthy will be seen in the lead negative role. The movie is all about the mixture of personal and professional events happening in the day to day life of a police officer.
What happens when a particular incident brings threat to his carrier and how he reacts and overcome should be witnessed on screen.
PERFORMANCE
Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan have given an outstanding performance in the film. The scenes between the lead actors have come out well and the chemistry between them is also impressive. Vijay Sethupathi the man of the screen presence.
He is just apt in each scene. Vijay Sethupathi as a honest police officer, a lovable husband and a good dad it is refreshing to see the actor in a cop uniform. Remya Nambeesan is a perfect fit to the role. The assistant cop Murthy, The head police officer and villain Vela Ramamoorthy have done a good job.
K. Prasanna has done a commendable job in music. The movie also had a great camera and editing work. Again the fight sequences cannot be ignored to mention. Kudos to the stunt masters. Overall, the Sethupathi is really lucky to have a good team.
