Thirunaal - Can Watch it once!
REVIEW
Jiiva and Nayanthara's much-awaited "Thirunaal" hit the screens today on Friday, Aug. 5. It is an action movie written and directed by PS Ramnatha and produced by M Senthil Kumar. Meenakshi, Sharath Lohitashwa, Gobinath, Karunas, Joe Malloori, VIS Jayapalan and others play pivotal roles in the Tamil film, which features Srikanth Deva's music, Mahesh Muthuswami's cinematography and VT Vijayan's editing.
The movie had completed its shooting long back but was delayed for release. Now finally the movie had hit the screens today and the flick is touted to be an action based movie directed by P.S Ranjith. The movie is bankrolled by M.Senthil Kumar. The movie is also a village centric movie and the promos and trailers of the movie had got good reviews.
STORY
"Thirunaal" tells the story of a local rowdy character named Blade (Jiiva), who tries to change himself after falling in love with a kindergarten teacher, played by Nayanthara.
In between these scenes, A.S.P. Pugazhenthi played by Gopinath joined this team and tried to control all the misbehaviors around the city. Meanwhile one of the groups plans to murder Blade Ganesh and police team on another side.
The issues that the hero faces once he changes his ways forms the crux of the story. The film, which is shot in Thanjavur and Kumbakonam, delivers the message that one cannot survive by indulging in criminal activities.
PERFORMANCE
Though the first meet of Jiiva and Nayanthara in the film will start with an unpleasant incident, soon they develop a liking for each other and the whole film has been told in a light hearted manner with an underlying emotional quotient. The combination scenes between Jiiva and Nayanthara are the major highlights of the film.
