REVIEW

Zero is directed by Shiv Mohaa and is produced by Balaji Kapa under the banner of Madhav Media. The story of Zero is penned by Shiva Mohaa and music is composed by Nivas K Prasanna. Along with Ashwin Kakumanu and Sshivada in lead roles, the movie also stars JD Chakravarthy in very important role. Babu Kumar has done the Cinematography and Sudharshan has handled the Editing. The movie is distributed by Blue Ocean Entertainment. The movie is releasing in two languages Tamil and Telugu. The audio of the movie had been released earlier and as the movie is a horror thriller, the background score given by the music director had suited this genre. The trailer of the movie had also been released earlier and the trailer was really terrific and scary.

The zero film is a Fantasy thriller as the director said. The film Zero is going to entertain all class thriller movie lovers in a great. The story of the movie Zero has good suspense and will let the audience stay connected with the movie. Though the story is unique we may find bit coincidences with other movies, apparently the young director kept his best efforts and narrated a wonderful story for all class audience of Telugu and Tamil states.

STORY

The plot of the film revolves around a couple, social worker Bala (Ashwin) and Priya (Sshivada), who shift in an apartment bought by his father. Their excitement turns into shock when they start experiencing weird phenomena in the house.

"Zero" tries to explain how this world started and how that's connected to the present-day events. The story is said to be inspired by a legend set in ancient times. Zero is a romantic thriller based on a particular belief from the Biblical time. It would be more apt to call it a thrilling horror movie.

PERFORMANCE

Ashwin Kakumanu playing as lead actor is able to impress audience with his acting skill. The fantasy horror movie cinematography is very well handled by IE Babu Kumar. The background score gets the first mention! Nivas K Prasanna's work is brilliant in Zero. Be it songs or BGM - the young composer has nailed it. The actors, Sshivada, Ashwin and JD, have given impressive performances.

The director has sensibly used references like the snake and the garden, instead of just forcing them inside the story.  Zero was visually appealing too. Good visuals, pleasant faces and commendable art work. The flashback portions, the imaginary portions and the present ones could be differentiated easily based on the color tones used.A few portions of the CG work in the film was below average.
